This tulip is a good starting pattern. I've made two
versions for you. One has a stem the other does not. The
"does not" looks good without having to cut the narrow piece. The solder
line becomes the stem. The hardest areas on this one will be the sharp
points. Remember if the glass breaks on the tip, it OK, the copper
foil would have been covering it anyway and the tip would be under
solder....so don't get too picky. I also noticed that I left off
the line that goes from the center top of the tulip to the top edge of
the pattern, so add that in for me and don't tell anyone OK?
Notice how close the right leaf is to the tulip?
That narrow space in the background piece is a cut-able piece but it can
be a problem that you can solve by lowering the leave a little on the
pattern and making that space a little wider. And always consider
some slight changes in any pattern you find that will make the pattern
just as attractive and easier to cut.
